For schools and professionals

Collaborative speech and language therapy that supports communication across the whole school day

Working together to support communication

I work closely with schools and other professionals to make communication support practical, consistent, and achievable in everyday settings.

My goal is to help every child communicate confidently, not just in the therapy room, but in the classroom, playground, and beyond.

That happens best when everyone who supports a child understands how communication works for them, and how to make small changes that make a big difference.

What I offer

I provide flexible, collaborative input for schools and settings, including:

• Assessment and therapy for individual pupils

• Classroom observation and staff coaching to embed strategies in real time

• Joint goal-setting and progress monitoring with teachers and SENDCos

• Targeted group sessions for speech, language, or social communication

• Bespoke training and workshops for staff teams

Training is always tailored to your setting’s needs and priorities.

My approach

Partnership is at the heart of my work. I aim to make speech and language support practical, inclusive, and sustainable within your existing routines.

I work collaboratively with staff, families, and other professionals to:

• Share clear, achievable strategies that can be used every day

• Build confidence in supporting communication across the curriculum

• Create a shared understanding of each child’s strengths and communication profile

Communication support is most effective when it’s part of daily teaching and learning, not an add-on. My role is to help make that possible.

Experience and background

I have over 20 years’ experience working across NHS services, mainstream and specialist schools, and independent practice, including several years as Clinical Lead for early communication and AAC in a private practice in Singapore.

My areas of expertise include:

• Speech sound and motor speech disorders (including CAS)

• Language and literacy development

• Social communication and pragmatic language

• AAC and early communication support

I regularly provide training, consultation, and joint working with teachers, therapists, and SENDCos to ensure communication support is cohesive and effective.
